Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design offers a specialist arts and design stream for talented and creative students in these disciplines.
Entrance into the visual arts and design stream is gained via a written application and interview process.
Visual Arts and Design has a strong focus in preparing students with the creative skills required for the 21st century and their active participation in a global environment. In both art making and critical and historical studies, students are encouraged to develop skills in critical thinking and creative solution making.
Creativity is supported through the Creativity Framework –students focus on exercising the imagination, being inquisitive, practising persistence, developing collaboration skills and acquiring discipline in refining their skills.
