Enrichment class
Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design is committed to the achievement and wellbeing of all students, and this includes providing a fulfilling and challenging education for students who have been identified as gifted or of high potential. Our Enrichment Stream offers an environment of scholarly rigour and support, facilitating the sustainable achievement of students throughout their secondary schooling.
Staff at DHSVAD work to foster the development of the four domains of high potential and giftedness identified by the NSW Department of Education: intellectual, creative, physical, and social-emotional. This means rich teaching and learning in classrooms, and a range of extra-curricular opportunities , listed below. Throughout the school year students are given the tools to challenge themselves academically through scholarly and challenging contests like the Big Science Competition and the Premier’s Debating Challenge. Opportunities are available to extend their creativity through the HPGE writing course or the School Spectacular, or to enrich their 21st Century readiness by joining the Robotics or Coding Clubs. We are always looking for more opportunities to enhance the experience of our students.
