Our Parents and Citizens Association aims to:
- Promote the interests of the school by bringing parents, guardians, citizens, students and teaching staff into close cooperation
- Provide assistance required by the school for the benefit of students
- Assist the teaching staff in establishment of school policy and management
- Encourage the school community to take an active role in school life.
The P&C usually meets on the third Wednesday of the month in the Heritage Room of the Administration Building. Meetings commence at 7pm and finish around 9pm. The Support Unit sub-committee meets once a term. Other sub-committees and working groups are convened as needed.
We also plan and hold social functions and fundraising events throughout the year.
All parents, carers and supporters of the school are welcome to attend meetings, fundraisers and social events. We would love to see all parents of new students become involved and share the fun and friendship of the P&C. With the establishment of the new P&C Building Fund, we are in particular need of community members with an interest and expertise in fundraising, architecture and design and in particular innovative ideas.
