Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design welcomes international students including students on the Study Abroad Program.
The International Students Coordinator is Mr Graham Spetere . He looks after all international students at the school. All teachers are very supportive and assist students to achieve their potential.
At Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design we support our International students by:
- Developing an understanding of international students in Australia, in particular the cultural backgrounds of our students.
- Developing an understanding of the challenges faced by our international students through the monitoring of attendance to ensure safety and wellbeing.
- Practices and strategies to support the teaching and learning of international students as all teachers get to know their students and how best they learn.
- Developing a plan of action that includes the procedures of enrolment, attendance, buddy system and socialisation and International student coordinator to support organisation and learning.
Our International Student Coordinating Team will support this action plan for students. This team involves the Deputy Principal, International Student Coordinator and Office staff member.
